Bela Cerkev is a settlement on the right bank of the river Krka in the Šmarješke Toplice municipality in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local parish church is dedicated to Saint Andrew and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Novo Mesto. It was built in 1813 on the site of an earlier building.[3]
